In a move reflecting the strategic expansion of the logistics sector in the UAE, Abu Dhabi Ports Group today inaugurated the "Al Faya Dry Port," marking it as the first dry port in Abu Dhabi. The port aims to enhance the efficiency of transportation and storage operations while reducing logistics service costs.
Located in a strategic area between the emirates of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the "Al Faya Dry Port" serves as a major transit hub, facilitating faster and more efficient delivery of goods to markets.
The port benefits from its direct land connection with Khalifa Port, which helps speed up handling processes and reduce operational costs for businesses operating in Dubai and the northern emirates.
Abu Dhabi Ports Group also announced that "Al Faya Dry Port" will begin operations with CMA CGM as its first major partner, with future plans to expand services to include other key global shipping partners, such as:

Digital Integration
The new port is fully digitally integrated with Khalifa Port through the "Atlob" platform by Maqta Gateway, enhancing operational efficiency and speeding up customs clearance.
"Al Faya Dry Port" has an initial capacity of 900 standard containers (20-foot size), with the ability to expand according to market requirements.
Designed to global standards, the port complies with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS), ensuring the highest levels of security and safety.
The port also offers internal customs clearance services, speeding up the transfer of goods and reducing waiting times, which enhances its appeal as a comprehensive logistics destination supporting regional and international trade.
With this launch, the UAE strengthens its position as a global logistics hub, and the "Al Faya Dry Port" is expected to become a new model for enhancing the efficiency of supply chains, storage, and transportation in the region.
