Jordan has recorded a significant improvement in its entrepreneurship environment, according to the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report, which is one of the most important international reports for assessing global entrepreneurship ecosystems.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on Monday, the report showed an increase in the early-stage entrepreneurial activity index, reflecting the growing number of individuals launching their own businesses. The entrepreneurial intention index also improved, indicating a growing interest in entrepreneurship as a sustainable economic path.

Regarding the business environment, Jordan witnessed a noticeable improvement in physical infrastructure, with the score rising to 7.6 out of 10. Market dynamics also saw a leap from 2.1 in 2023 to 5.2 in 2024, reflecting a more flexible and open business environment.

This progress strengthens Jordan's position as an emerging entrepreneurship hub, as the government continues to support innovation and start-ups, as part of its efforts to develop the digital economy and attract investments in modern sectors.
